Our farm is something we've been longing to do for quite some time, but never really had the guts to follow through until summer 2007.  

Several years ago, our close, family friend, Allison Carpenter from Mythic Friesians introduced us to the majestic beauty of the Friesian horse and although being fairly new to the horse world, we knew we had to have one. 

 We found the mare we wanted through Rick Simonetti from friesians4usa.com.  Emke W was imported from Holland and was in foal to Ait 410.  Once Emke had her foal, we were fully hooked!  Her filly was the cutest thing and we wanted to keep her.  We didn't, but we have acquire a couple of other friesians since then...you'll find them on our 'Friesians' page...  

We live and work on 10 acres of lush pasture and our farm is a constant work in progress.  We enjoy the work as much as we enjoy the horseplay!
